Patong Beach
is the most famous of Phuket's beaches and it has the largest
concentration of tourists. It
is located on the West Coast of Phuket. The tropical beach
is 4 km long deep inside a protective bay, ringed with high
green lush green mountains. The white sand and the water is
very clean despite this is the most developed beach on the
island. The bungalow complexes, restaurants, shops and vibrant
nightspots appealing to all tastes are lined up to the seafront.
This beach is not recommended for those in search of solitude,
but definitely suitable for those looking for a lively holiday,
this is the party beach. There is a wide variety of Beer bars,
Discotek, Cabaret shows and go-go bars.
Weather
The weather of Phuket dominated by monsoon winds that blow
year round. It is therefore always warm and humid. There are
two distinct seasons, rainy and dry. The rainy season begins
in May to October, during which the monsoon blows from the
southwest. The dry season is from November through April,
when the monsoon comes from the northeast. Highest average
temperatures, at 33.4 degree Celsius, prevail during March.
Lowest averages occur in January, when nightly lows dip to
22 degree Celsius.
